Hi, I’m Emily

I currently live in a small community nestled just east of Atlanta, Georgia.

In recent years, my art has primarily come from commissions. Working with clients has given me the freedom and flexibility to embrace a variety of techniques and subject matter, though I usually land in the realm of ink portraiture and architectural renderings or large abstract paintings.

When painting for myself, it’s largely sentimental as I draw from my impressions of past experiences and the sense of feeling and identity tied to a particular place.

Though creating art is not something I am pursuing as a full-time endeavor, I have learned it is something I must always choose to nurture within myself. I hope you'll follow along as my body of work continues to develop and evolve.

In case you're looking for some new artists to follow, current artists that I find particularly inspiring are Paul W. Ruiz, Caitlin Winner, Tara Will, Douglas Miller, and Atlanta local Evan Blackwell.

Commissioning a custom piece of art means the subject holds importance; a person, a place, a moment in time that made an impact. As an artist, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to celebrate what’s important to you through art.
